Role Description
The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist is a full-time, on-site role based in Anaheim, CA. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce precision components that meet Client’s engineering specifications and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders, selecting and installing tooling, making machine adjustments, and performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance. The CNC Machinist will inspect finished parts using measurement instruments, document production data, and collaborate with supervisors and quality personnel to address dimensional or process issues. This role also involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, following established safety procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the machining department.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Machine Operation skills, including setup, adjustment, and safe operation of CNC machinery.
- Candidates should possess Machining and Milling skills for producing precision parts to tight tolerances and working with various metals and materials.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including part inspection, use of gauges and measurement tools, and accurate documentation of results.
- Candidates should possess general Machinery skills, including basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and adherence to equipment safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a machining or CNC trade program or relevant apprenticeship is a plus.
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
