Bobcat of Statesboro / Shoemaker Equipment Supply Is currently seeking a quality candidate to join our team.
Applicant will need to have mechanical skills to troubleshoot, and repair Bobcat construction equipment (Track Loaders, Excavators, Skid Steers), Large Ag Tractors/Implements, small engine equipment, and light trailer repairs. This position is for Inside and Road work. Must be efficient tech for road calls.
Applicant Must Possess or Be Able to demonstrate, perform or provide the following:
Lift over 50 lbs consistently.
Have a valid drivers license with Clean 5 year motor vehicle record and able to obtain a DOT Medical Card to operate commercial vehicles.
Have proper tools to completed the job. Excluding specialty shop tools that are provided already by our company.
Proficiency in Basic computer skills included but not limited to email, point of sale, online parts ordering, reading parts schematics and repair manuals. Able to navigate manufacturers service libraries for repairs.
Ability to follow warranty repair procedures as set forth by the unit manufacturers and document their work orders with proper photos, causal parts failures and all the steps for warranty work to be satisfied.
Pay offering will be determined by prior experience.
Willing to train mechanics with backgrounds in other areas such as heavy truck, auto mechanics and ag techs. Additional hourly billable bonus available for efficient techs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour
Additional Billable Bonus $ Available after completion of training.
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
