Overview
As a Driver, your primary focus is to be a team leader and work well with others, with jobs daily in a fast-paced environment. You will act as a professional for our company, packing, loading and unloading client’s household goods to designate storage facilities and provide exceptional customer service. If you love working as a team player and value your work and being accountable for the work you do, a position with Pioneer Storage and Moving is the ideal choice! Most runs are out-and-back on the same day and need to be flexible for various other essential transportation activities.
Duties
- Safely operate a box truck
- Assist with packing, loading, and unloading.
- Ensuring delivery accuracy and exceptional customer service.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and professional standards.
- Able to fill out proper paperwork for storage facilities, records and shipments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, or moving services with a focus on manual handling and heavy lifting
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., <PERSON> driver license or equivalent) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating box trucks, commercial trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar material handling equipment
- Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safe lifting practices in the workplace
- Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly while maintaining proper manual handling techniques
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during deliveries and interactions
- Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and documentation purposes
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks throughout the workday in various environments
