We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner/Expo to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Expo plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for food and hospitality, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all food orders are complete and presented beautifully before serving to guests.
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to communicate order details and special requests.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any needs or concerns.
- Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Support the overall operations of the restaurant by assisting with various tasks as needed.
Skills
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and guests.
- A background in hospitality, banquet service, or food service is a plus.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
