We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Manager to oversee and support our nursing department. This part-time leadership role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing guidance and support to nursing staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge, leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the nursing department to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
- Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with applicable regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing programs and services, making recommendations and adjustments to improve patient outcomes.
- Foster effective communication among nursing staff, physicians, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
- Create and maintain nursing staff schedules.
- Serve as an on-call resource and provide coverage coordination when nursing staff are unavailable or fail to report for scheduled shifts.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and organizational policies.
- Stay current with advancements in nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to make sound clinical and operational decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
