Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Provide wound care and ostomy care as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state of Mississippi
- Experience in memory care, dementia care, or similar settings is preferred
- Knowledge of medical imaging procedures and interpretation of results
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs measurements
- Familiarity with dialysis procedures and equipment is a plus
- Ability to provide occupational health services to employees as needed
- Experience in an ambulatory surgery center is desirable
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
