Big Valley Auto Auction is seeking a motivated and reliable Lot Porter to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining an organized, clean, and customer-ready vehicle lot. The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, and comfortable working on their feet throughout the day and in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Move, park, and organize vehicles on the lot as directed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly lot at all times
- Prepare vehicles for display, delivery, or service
- Wash, vacuum, and perform light detailing of vehicles as needed
- Assist sales and service teams with vehicle movement and errands
- Monitor vehicle condition and report any damage or issues
- Perform general lot maintenance, including trash removal and seasonal cleanup
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be over 21
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Physically capable of walking, standing, bending, and lifting as needed
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated attitude
- Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality, excellent communications skills
- Bilingual is a plus
