Travel RN - Pediatric ICU

Job Details

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Pediatric Cardiac ICU position requiring 2-5 years of PCICU experience and a VA or compact RN license.

Pediatric Cardiac ICU setting with 8-12 beds
Patient population includes complex congenital cardiac disease, heart failure, myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, and post-op congenital cardiac patients, including Berlin Hearts and HeartMate III support
Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
No on-call requirements
Self-scheduling available

Active VA or compact RN license required
BLS and PALS certifications required
2-5 years of Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience required
Experience with invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilators, and inotropes required
Experience managing post-op complex congenital cardiac patients preferred
Experience with ECMO, CRRT, Berlin Hearts, and HeartMate III preferred
Must be able to titrate drips
Familiarity with RT equipment including vents, trachs, Cervos, LTVs, high frequency, and occasional home vent
