BCMW Community Services is seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Meal Site Supervisor to oversee our Salem Senior Meal Site. This position plays an important role in ensuring our seniors receive nutritious meals in a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment while supporting home-delivered meal participants throughout the community.

Essential Responsibilities
- Welcome seniors and create a friendly, inviting atmosphere at the meal site.
- Maintain accurate daily attendance, meal counts, reservations, and participant records.
- Plan and coordinate activities, educational programs, guest speakers, and entertainment for participants.
- Conduct eligibility assessments and required reassessments for home-delivered meal participants.
- Assist with volunteer recruitment and encourage senior volunteer involvement.
- Ensure the meal site, dining room, office, and restrooms remain clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Monitor participant safety and provide assistance to individuals with mobility or accessibility needs.
- Collect and accurately document participant donations according to agency procedures.
- Submit required reports, documentation, and participant forms in a timely manner.
- Maintain regular communication with the Program Coordinator and Executive Director regarding site operations.
- Check and respond to company email daily.
- Ensure required employee training is completed.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Senior Nutrition Program.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills, including email and data entry.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with agency staff.
- Ability to build positive relationships with seniors, volunteers, and community partners.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel locally to complete participant assessments.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist participants when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with older adults, senior services, healthcare, social services, or community programs.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred but not required.
