Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness for new construction residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will bring energy, dedication, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas.
- Perform interior/exterior window and glass doors.
- Familiar operating vacuum cleaners; operated floor buffers, scrubbers (if needed).
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, and vacuum cleaners to maintain floors and surfaces in top condition.
- General cleaning (wipe down doors, light fixtures, ceiling fans, baseboards, cabinets and drawers)
- Bathrooms (fixtures, light fixtures, toilets, tubs, shower glass, ceramic tiles)
- Conduct light lifting tasks using safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment.
- Pick up trash and debris.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Support cleaning needs for both commercial and residential spaces, include porter duties as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or cleaning roles with knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Climb a six foot ladder.
- Reach high areas for cleaning.
- Familiarity with chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and organization.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed.
- Prior experience with commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, or residential cleaning is a plus but not required.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
