Duties
- Perform accurate cash handling, including processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and balancing cash drawers daily
- Assist customers with account inquiries, account openings, and updates to their banking information
- Promote and upsell banking products such as loans, credit cards, savings accounts, and other financial services to meet customer needs
- Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring transactions and verifying customer identities
- Process loan applications and assist with loan origination procedures in accordance with bank policies
- Manage customer relationships by providing personalized service and addressing their financial concerns promptly
- Maintain compliance with banking regulations and internal policies through diligent recordkeeping and transaction documentation
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Proficiency in basic math, retail math, and cash management techniques including debits & credits
- Experience in financial sales, upselling, and cross-selling banking products effectively
- Knowledge of financial software systems used for transaction processing and recordkeeping
- Familiarity with fraud prevention and detection practices within banking operations
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain banking options and procedures to customers

This position will have a starting pay of $15.00 per hour or more based on experience.
