Director of Sacred Music (part-time)
Bishop Thomas K. Gorman Catholic School seeks a Director of Sacred Music for the 2026-2027 school year.
The person in this role will lead the Choirs that sing at our School Masses and other liturgical functions. The qualified candidate will possess the ability to bring the good, the true and the beautiful to life through music, demonstrating an appreciation for sacred choral music, chant, and contemporary praise and worship music.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Certification or ability to obtain certification required
- Master’s Degree, and three or more years of teaching experience preferred
- Experience with concert, performance events, competitions, etc. preferred
- Possess or be willing to obtain teaching certification
- Must undergo a background check and complete the Ethics and Integrity Program of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas
Salary: Commensurate with experience
