Maintenance Technician – Vacation Rentals
We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on problem solver to join our maintenance team and help keep our vacation rentals in top shape for guests. This isn’t just a “fix things” job — every day is different, and you’ll work on everything from basic home repairs to tech troubleshooting.
If you like working with your hands, enjoy variety, and take pride in making things work, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Swap & Go: Replace HVAC air filters and refrigerator water filters to keep systems running efficiently.
- Keep It Flowing: Refill water softeners with salt (bags are 50 lbs — you’ll get a mini workout).
- Tech Support: Troubleshoot Wi‑Fi, smart locks, TVs, thermostats, and other in-home tech for guests and staff.
- Light Repairs: Tighten furniture, replace small parts, and swap bulbs and batteries.
- BBQ Ready: Clean and inspect grills so guests are set for cookouts.
- Touch-Ups: Patch small wall holes, paint, and tighten fixtures as needed.
- Quality Control: Walk properties to catch issues before guests do.
- Safety First: Ensure units meet our safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Some experience — or serious interest — in home maintenance, repairs, or DIY projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to figure things out on the fly.
- Comfortable with basic tools, paint, and small repairs.
- Tech-savvy enough to troubleshoot common smart-home and connectivity issues.
- Confident working independently and managing your own schedule.
- Friendly, professional, and calm when speaking with guests.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Able to lift 50 lbs and handle physical work.
This is a strong fit if you like variety, learning new skills, and seeing the results of your work right away. You’ll join a small, supportive team that takes pride in delivering great guest experiences.
