WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an HVAC Commercial Installer, you will support the Project Foreman on commercial installation projects and help keep work moving by following the project plan, communicating clearly, maintaining high-quality standards, and completing installations safely, efficiently, and accurately.
Responsibilities include:
- Install commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, ductwork, hydronic piping, control wiring, and related system components
- Support the Project Foreman by carrying out the installation plan as directed
- Use Procore and other jobsite technology to access project drawings, specifications, submittals, timecard information, and job-related documentation
- Complete installation work with a high level of quality, ensuring work is plumb, level, square, clean, accurate, and completed with pride
- Work efficiently and productively to help projects stay on track
- Read and follow approved drawings, project plans, specifications, submittals, and foreman direction
- Communicate clearly with foremen, coworkers, apprentices, project managers, and office personnel as needed
- Follow company safety programs and help maintain a safe, organized jobsite
- Help apprentices understand safe work practices, quality expectations, and productive jobsite habits
- Prepare material lists and notify the foreman when materials are running low
- Step into added responsibility on larger projects when needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is an experienced HVAC installation professional who can work productively as part of a field team, follow direction from the foreman, communicate clearly, and complete high-quality commercial installation work without losing sight of safety, accuracy, or efficiency.
Qualifications include:
- Hands-on HVAC installation experience
- Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and jobsite expectations
- Ability to read and follow project drawings, plans, specifications, and submittals
- Experience installing RTUs, ductwork, hydronic piping, control wiring, or related HVAC system components
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Safety-first mindset and commitment to following company safety programs
- Strong communication skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and a team-oriented attitude
- Comfort using jobsite technology, including tablets, laptops, mobile apps, Procore, and related tools
- Willingness to support apprentices and contribute to a strong jobsite culture
