Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. Experience with various types of trucks, including dump trucks, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and flatbeds is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive various types of trucks, including but not limited to dump trucks, refrigerated trailers, tankers, and flatbeds.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to designated locations while following assigned routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo as needed; forklift experience is a plus.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns immediately.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
- Ability to operate different types of trucks (dump truck, refrigerated trailer, tanker, flatbed).
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills for interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
- Physical stamina for long hours on the road and ability to lift heavy loads when necessary.

Pay: $35,625.00 - $65,000.00 per year
