Arma Dei Academy is looking for a Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood team. This position is responsible for creating a structured, welcoming classroom where young children can develop foundational academic, social, and personal skills.
Our preschool program uses a Classical Christian educational approach, incorporating age-appropriate academics, character development, hands-on activities, and biblical instruction throughout the school day.
We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants who enjoy working with young children and want to be part of a collaborative school community.

Provide daily instruction and activities appropriate for preschool-aged children.

Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment.

Incorporate Scripture, poetry, songs, chants, and hands-on activities into classroom learning.

Support children's academic, social, emotional, and character development.

Establish consistent classroom routines and expectations.
-
Build positive relationships with students and their families.

Communicate with families regarding student development and classroom activities.

Work with the Preschool Director, Teacher Assistants, and other staff to support student needs.

Follow applicable Colorado requirements related to supervision, health, safety, attendance, and documentation.

Assist with school activities such as Open House, Parent-Teacher Conferences, and community events.

Help maintain an environment that reflects the school's Classical Christian educational philosophy.
Required

Interest in early childhood education and child development.

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Ability to create a structured and positive classroom environment.

Commitment to the mission and values of Classical Christian education.

Christian faith and willingness to support the school's biblical worldview.

Ability to work effectively with young children, families, and fellow educators.
Preferred
-
Meets Colorado Early Childhood Teacher qualification requirements or an applicable qualification pathway.

ECPC Level 2 credential, or willingness to obtain one within the required timeframe.

Previous experience working with preschool-aged children.

Experience in a Classical Christian, Christian, or faith-based educational setting.
