Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and facilities are spotless, sanitized, and well-maintained. Your efforts will directly contribute to the positive experiences of our guests and uphold the high standards of cleanliness our hotel is known for.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces
- Conduct floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine surfaces
- Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure guest comfort
- Follow sanitation protocols to uphold health standards and prevent contamination
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred; hotel housekeeping experience is a plus
- Familiarity with residential or commercial cleaning techniques and equipment
- Knowledge of floor care methods including carpet cleaning and sanitation procedures
- Customer service skills to interact politely with guests and team members
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with laundry operations and housekeeping management is advantageous
