Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively with others. This role involves various tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of our facility, including assembly, fabrication, and general labor duties.
- Assist in the preparation of plants and products for shipment according to order requirements
- Label, tag, and organize plant material for outgoing orders
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Move carts, racks, and plant material within the shipping area and greenhouse
- Verify orders for accuracy before shipment (correct product, quantity, and destination)
- Assist in staging orders in the correct shipping zones
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shipping area at all times
- Follow all company safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily shipping goals
- Support inventory movement and basic tracking as needed
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs occasionally
- Work in greenhouse environments with varying temperatures and humidity
Experience
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts, power tools, and hand tools is advantageous.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus, enabling effective troubleshooting of equipment issues.
- Experience working on assembly lines or in warehouses will be beneficial for this role.
