Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer engagement
- Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to ensure attractive product displays
- Perform cashiering duties including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing registers at shift end
- Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending relevant items
- Maintain phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are advantageous for team support roles
- Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and inventory management tasks efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Knowledge of retail math principles for sales tracking and register balancing
