Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role (opportunities to travel) as a Mechanic/Technician at LAG Equipment located in Trafford, PA. We offer full healthcare benefits, 401K, paid holidays/vacation, etc.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of machinery: electrical & hydraulic preferred
- Experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repairs
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skill
- Experience in the refractory industry is a plus
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a mechanic
- Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
