We are seeking an exceptional individual who has 1 year of professional experience providing care to seniors, having your Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) designation is a plus! We also support partnering communities. ApexCare has exceeded expectations during this difficult time. Our Caregivers work one weekend shift per week. ApexCare has Comprehensive initial training and ongoing education, including CEUs for CNAs and HHAs. We have shifts from 3hrs. up to 12 hours, Flexible shifts, pay overtime, merit-based raises, and referrals. Hours are not guaranteed in this industry, we do strive to get you the hours you are seeking. We keep you in a 20-25 mile radius around your home, on the days & times you can work, and the service you can provide with training from us.
- Personal care including toileting, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Alzheimer's and dementia care
- Personal mobility and ambulation assistance
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation, cooking, and assistance with eating
- Transportation assistance for errands and appointments
- Companionship and communication with family and office
To qualify, you must have:
- TB Test less than a year old or will need a new one
- Ability to provide identification as indicated on an I-9 form
- Reliable transportation to shift
- Ability to pass a background check through DOJ and FBI going back to your 18th birthday
- Effective English / Spanish communication skills (Bilingual a plus!)
- At least one-year professional caregiving experience (Required)
