Are you an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant looking for a meaningful opportunity to make an immediate impact on the lives of children and families? Plymouth Pediatric Associates ("PPA") is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and highly motivated provider to join our team on a temporary basis to provide maternity leave coverage for approximately six months.
Located in beautiful Plymouth, Massachusetts, Plymouth Pediatric Associates has been a trusted healthcare partner to families for more than 60 years. We are proud to provide exceptional pediatric care in a modern, 12,000-square-foot facility designed to support the whole child and family. Our integrated model of care includes on-site behavioral health services, lactation support, laboratory/phlebotomy services, and registered dietitian services, all working together to provide comprehensive care under one roof.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pediatric provider seeking flexibility, a supportive clinical environment, and the opportunity to work alongside an outstanding team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive health maintenance and preventive care, including well-child examinations, developmental screenings, patient and family education, and counseling for patients from birth through young adulthood.
- Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and injuries in a primary care and urgent care setting.
- Collaborate closely with parents and guardians to support and educate families regarding their child's health and wellness.
- Order, interpret, and communicate laboratory and diagnostic test results accurately and promptly.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
- Document patient encounters and pertinent findings in the electronic medical record.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and medical assistants to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Promote health maintenance, disease prevention, and wellness through patient education and counseling.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Assist patients and families in identifying and accessing community resources when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant.
- Current Massachusetts NP or PA license.
- Current Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration and DEA certification.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum of two (2) years of pediatric experience in a primary care or urgent care setting.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to pediatric patients and their families.
Schedule
- Temporary position (approximately six months)
- Weekdays, with occasional weekends and holidays as needed
- In-person position located in Plymouth, Massachusetts

Pay: $96,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
