Job Summary
Looking for servers and cooks at our new Wings Etc. new location opening very soon. Join our vibrant team as a Server or Cook, where your energy and culinary skills will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing delicious food, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable atmosphere. Whether taking orders, serving beverages, or assisting in the kitchen, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will be key to our success. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments
- Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with safety and sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation, plating, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly and maintain high service standards
- Support food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and proper food safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless guest relations and a welcoming environment
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable
- Knowledge of fine dining standards and food safety regulations is beneficial
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Experience in food preparation, bussing tables, host/hostess duties, or cashiering is advantageous
- Hospitality or food industry background that emphasizes sanitation, food safety, and guest relations
