Stillmeadow Nazarene Child Care Center is hiring teachers for before and after school. This is a great position for college students!
Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered learning environment that promotes each individual child’s spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through developmentally appropriate practices, helping the children in our care to explore, discover, create, and become life-long learners.
Responsibilities as a school-age teacher include:
-Planning and implementing developmentally-appropriate activities which meet the needs of the individual children in the classroom.
-Supervising children at all times.
-Maintaining a well-ordered classroom environment that is safe and nurturing.
-Overseeing mealtime/snack time activities.
-Communicating with parents and building positive relationships!
Qualifications:
-At least a High School Diploma (Degree in Education or Human Services preferred)
-Must be 18 years of age.
-Must have at least 2500 hours of documented experience with children.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Pay rate determined by education and years of experience with children.
Hours:
- 7.00-8.30, 3.30-5.30 Additional hours available mid-day, additional $1.00 per hour for split shift
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
