Rivercrest Place Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to join our care team in supporting residents with daily living needs and helping create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will provide hands-on assistance, companionship, and encouragement while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence for every resident.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and toileting as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support in a respectful and professional manner
- Support residents with mealtime assistance, hydration, and routine daily needs
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to the appropriate team members
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
- Follow care plans, safety procedures, and facility policies at all times
- Document care and observations accurately according to organizational guidelines
- Collaborate with nurses, supervisors, and other team members to support quality resident care
- Encourage resident independence while providing appropriate assistance and supervision
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing respectful care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions, care plans, and safety protocols
- Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Experience in a care, support, or healthcare environment is preferred
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with mobility and lifting as appropriate
