American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong Neuro, Spine, and Orthopedic experience for a hospital OR position in California.

Hospital surgical services department with occasional floating to sister campuses
-
Variable shift schedule with start times ranging from 6:45 AM to 1:00 PM, covering both day (6:45 AM–3:15 PM) and evening (1:00 PM–9:30 PM) shifts
-
5x8 schedule with weekends included in rotation
-
On-call required
-
Neuro, Spine, Orthopedic, and Total Joint surgical cases
-
Da Vinci robotic surgical system cases included in case mix
-
NBSTSA CST certification required
-
CA license required if applicable
-
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
-
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
-
Minimum of 2 years of surgical technology experience
-
Strong Neuro, Spine, and Total Joint experience required

Da Vinci robotic surgical experience required
-
2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Assist in preparing the OR and supporting surgical teams during Neuro, Spine, Orthopedic, and robotic procedures

Perform routine and delegated duties according to department and hospital standards to ensure quality patient care

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
-
Previous employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
-
Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the assignment
