Overview
The Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders through all stages of the fulfillment process. This position performs picking, packing, scanning, labeling, staging, and other warehouse activities to ensure orders are completed accurately and shipped on time. The Fulfillment Associate is expected to maintain established productivity and quality standards while following all safety procedures and contributing to an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently according to order specifications and established procedures.
- Pack products using appropriate materials and methods to ensure orders are complete, accurate, and protected during shipment.
- Scan products, orders, locations, and shipping labels using warehouse systems and handheld scanning equipment.
- Verify product quantities, item numbers, personalization details, and other order information prior to shipment.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately and prepare completed orders for staging and shipment.
- Stage completed orders in designated locations according to carrier, shipping method, or operational requirements.
- Assist with receiving, put away, replenishment, and movement of inventory as needed to support fulfillment operations.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, incorrect orders, or other quality concerns to the appropriate team lead or supervisor.
- Follow established procedures for addressing order, inventory, scanning, and fulfillment issues.
- Meet established productivity, accuracy, quality, and attendance expectations.
- Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment safely and appropriately.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) when trained, authorized, and required for the position.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members, leads, and supervisors to meet daily order volume and shipping deadlines.
- Assist in other warehouse departments or functions based on business and operational needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, shipping, or related experience preferred.
- Previous experience with order picking, packing, shipping, or inventory processes preferred.
- Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems preferred.
- Basic computer and data-entry experience required.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established operating procedures.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use warehouse management systems, handheld scanners, and related technology.
- Basic math skills, including counting and verifying quantities.
- Ability to recognize and report discrepancies or quality concerns.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize assigned work and adjust to changing order volumes and operational needs.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and proper material-handling practices.
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment after receiving required training and authorization.
- Dependable attendance and ability to consistently meet productivity and quality expectations.
- Ability to handle tasks with accuracy, professionalism, and consistency.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50–75 pounds
- Ability to load and unload a truck (bending, reaching, lifting)
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
