This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to support bakery and kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production and exceptional customer experiences. You will be instrumental in preparing, decorating, and packaging a variety of baked goods and confections, all while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Preparing items such as brownies, cookies, cookie dough, cakes, cupcakes, brownies, and more depending on what is needed
- Ensuring we have sufficient stock of all needed baked goods, and assessing upcoming orders to prepare adequately
- Support food production processes by measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling products efficiently.
- Package baked items securely for retail display or catering orders, ensuring presentation quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring supplies, rotating stock, and notifying supervisors of shortages.
Experience
- Previous experience in baking is highly highly desired.
- Hands-on experience in food preparation within a bakery, restaurant, or catering environment is preferred.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with baking techniques are essential for success in this role.
- Experience working in the food industry or culinary setting demonstrates your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior kitchen experience involving food production, cooking, or catering will give you an advantage.
Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
