Job Summary
Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Worker and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial renovations to new builds, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge. As a Construction Worker, you will perform essential tasks that contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage.
Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including heavy lifting and material handling to ensure smooth workflow.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support various construction activities.
- Install rebar, form concrete structures, and perform concrete finishing to meet project specifications.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to execute framing, metal stud framing, and other detailed tasks.
- Conduct masonry work such as stucco application, tile laying, and restoration projects with precision.
- Perform carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, framing, roofing, and installation of flooring or drywall.
- Support renovation projects by applying plastering, caulking, and other finishing techniques on walls and surfaces.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience in construction estimating and project planning.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate execution of tasks.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumping equipment, and other construction machinery.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques such as metal stud framing, stucco application, tile installation, and masonry repairs.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely including cranes or forklifts; valid commercial driver’s license is a plus.
- Experience with roofing installation or repair; familiarity with restoration processes is advantageous.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety protocols; physical ability for heavy lifting and long hours on-site is essential.
