Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our company through strategic planning, sales and business development initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand our customer base and increase market share
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive revenue growth
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Successful candidate should be capable of strategic thinking (Developing Sales Strategies), while also being tactical by driving monthly sales results, developing sales metrics and processes and sales training initiatives.
- Work with the company president to learn the products/industry/business plan
- Personality and professionalism to adapt easily with various employees and customers
- Energy/Drive and attention to detail to make plans come to fruition
Background:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years meaningful experience in Sales with some Management and territory expansion experience in a professional environment
- Experience in Commercial Janitorial Services, Construction and Buidling Services is preferred
- Results Oriented individual who seeks results, not excuses
- Clean criminal background history and driving history are a must
Skills:
- Proven experience in strategic planning and business development
- Strong knowledge of software industry trends and technologies. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office - including word, outlook and excel.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Strong negotiation skills to secure profitable deals
- Ability to analyze market data and identify growth opportunities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
