H&H Machining Center is a family-owned precision machine shop in Valencia, CA. We have been in business since 1986. We are AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified and we make parts for aerospace, defense, space and medical.
We are hiring CNC Lathe Operators on both day shift and afternoon shift.
You do not need to be a programmer. If you can run a lathe and measure your own parts, we will train you the rest of the way.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Run CNC lathes and make good parts
- Load and unload parts
- Change inserts and cutting tools
- Make offsets to hold size as tools wear
- Check your own parts with mics, calipers, thread gauges and indicators
- Fill out your job travelers
- Keep your machine and area clean
- Tell the setup man or supervisor when something looks wrong
WHAT YOU NEED
- At least 3 years of CNC lathe operating experience
- Able to read a basic print
- Able to use mics and calipers
- Know how to make an offset
- Dependable attendance
Fanuc control and Doosan experience is a plus. So is aerospace. Neither one is required.
GROWTH
Operators who learn to do complete setups move up to Setup Machinist, and from there to Programmer. We promote from inside.
PAY AND SCHEDULE
$23.00 to $27.00 per hour depending on experience
Two shifts available:
Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM

THE WORK
Machine shop floor. You will be on your feet most of the shift and lifting up to 51 lbs. Earplugs, safety glasses and gloves are required and we provide them.
