Job Overview
We are seeking friendly and detail-oriented Dessert Baristas to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of delicious desserts and beverages, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and customer service while efficiently operating the cash register. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of desserts and specialty beverages with attention to quality and presentation
- Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed during food preparation, handling, and serving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dessert bar area, including cleaning utensils, equipment, and work surfaces
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling transactions efficiently and providing excellent customer service
- Assist in restocking supplies and ingredients to ensure the dessert bar is well-equipped at all times
- Follow health and safety guidelines to create a safe environment for both staff and customers
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for desserts is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
