Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring as needed.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in catering events as required, contributing to menu planning and execution.
- Monitor food quality throughout the preparation process to ensure freshness and presentation standards are met.
Skills
- Experience in Restaurant Kitchen is REQUIRED
- Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or catering setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools with proficiency.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
- A passion for culinary arts and a desire to learn new cooking techniques.
