Mason Jar Group is looking for incredible individuals to join the BOH Team here at Earl’s Landing; High Point’s premiere destination for an elevated dining experience serving steaks, and seafood, and will be complemented with the best cocktails and wine list!
Job Description & Expectations (dependent on designated role).
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand how hospitality venues run on a day-to-day basis including opening and closing routines, and cleaning protocols
- Work with kitchen staff, including participating in necessary and training
- Adhere to work schedule, which will include nights, weekends and holidays
- Assist with the preparation and execution food
- Make sure that all plates that leave the kitchen meet taste and design standards
- Ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently and professionally
- Confirm compliance with all sanitation and health and safety standards
Requirements and Qualifications
- Knowledge of food preparation and existing health and safety standards
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative attitude with an emphasis on excellent customer service
- Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food and beverage planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, record keeping, and preparation of reports.
Hospitality/Food & Beverage Experience preferred.
