American Traveler is seeking a Rad Tech for a Radiology position at a Level II Trauma Center in Elgin, IL, requiring ARRT certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Acute care hospital radiology department at a 255-bed Level II Trauma Center with Magnet designation and Primary Stroke Center status
-
Available equipment includes 4 X-ray rooms, 2 fluoroscopy rooms, 3 portables, and 6 C-arms
-
Patient population spans neonate to geriatric, including approximately 15% pediatric cases (experience preferred), serving inpatient, outpatient, ED, and OR settings
-
1:1 patient ratio
-
Rotating shift with hours of either 1:00 PM–11:30 PM or 11:00 PM–9:30 AM
-
40 hours per week
-
Weekend rotation of 2 weekends per month
-
Holiday coverage required as needed
-
No on-call requirements
-
Charting via Epic; equipment includes Shimadzu portables and Siemens & GE scanners and C-arms
-
Floating within the facility only
-
Minimum of 2 years of Radiology experience with most recent experience within the last year

Active ARRT certification and BLS required
-
IL state license required if applicable
-
C-arm experience required; trauma experience at any level required
-
O-arm experience preferred

Pediatric experience preferred
-
Epic EMR experience

1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN collected within the last year required for consideration

Orientation is up to 40 hours based on comfort level
