Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our talented team for either full or part-time hours. As a Cook at AdviniaCare Naples, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for our residents. You will also help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation and following food storage procedures.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for residents
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Follow food storage procedures and manage inventory effectively
Assist with menu planning and special dietary needs
Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment
Certificate or associate degree from a community college in culinary arts, cooking
Food handling certificate from your state and knowledge of geriatric diets
Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Capacity to work in a team
