HIRING ASAP: Sorters – $17 /hr
Location: OAKWOOD Ohio 44146
Job Type: Tempt to Hire
What You’ll Do:
- Sort and separate recyclables like aluminum, plastic, glass, and paper from waste streams.
- Deposit materials into the right bins/chutes (we promise, it’s not a game of Tetris… but it’s close).
- Help your team with heavy or bulky items—teamwork makes the dream work!
- Keep an eagle eye out for unacceptable materials.
- Follow all safety policies (we like all our fingers and toes intact).
- Communicate with equipment operators for special loads.
- Pitch in with other tasks as needed—no two days are the same.
What You Need:
- Experience in sorting, waste management, general labor, construction, or warehouse work is a plus—but not required.
- Ability to dig through materials efficiently (think: treasure hunting for recyclables).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Can lift heavy stuff safely and properly (your back will thank you).
- Outdoor work experience is preferred.
Job Types: Temporary, Contract
Pay: $17.00 per hour
