American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a Same Day Program requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience and a NH or compact RN license.

Work in a 34-bed Same Day Program unit providing pre- and post-op recovery care
-
1:2 patient ratio during phase one recovery
-
Services provided include gyn, ortho, plastics, vascular, cardiology, and general surgery patients
-
Varying 40-hour work week schedules including shifts from 6:00a-4:30p, 7:00a-5:30p, 8:00a-6:30p, 9:00a-7:30p, 10:00a-8:30p, and 11:00a-9:30p

No on-call responsibilities

No weekend requirements

Active RN license (NH or compact) required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

PALS certification preferred

Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required

Provide pre- and post-operative recovery care to a diverse surgical patient population

Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this position
