American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT CT certification for a 13-week travel contract at a Level I Trauma, academic medical center in Missouri.

Short-term acute care hospital setting with 1,259 staffed beds at a Level I Trauma and teaching facility
-
Inpatient and outpatient CT imaging environment handling high-complexity cases
-
Required CT procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
-
Preferred CT procedures include aspirations/biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, and transplant studies
-
All Siemens scanners in use

Epic EMR
-
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call required
-
Floating within clinical scope per facility policy; no floating to sister facilities

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
-
ARRT (CT) certification required at time of consideration
-
Current BLS required
-
Valid Missouri state license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)

Experience in both inpatient and outpatient work settings required
-
Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration required
-
IV starts, portables, and biopsy experience preferred
-
Siemens scanner experience preferred
-
Experience in a Level I Trauma center or large hospital setting strongly preferred

First-time travelers are accepted for this position
-
Scrub colors are black, red, or white
-
RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week of orientation

Former permanent employees of the facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
-
Allied travelers may remain for up to 12 months, after which a 6-month break in service is required
