Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Personal Training Sales/Manager to lead our fitness team and drive membership growth. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote personal training services and increase membership enrollment.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the personal training team to meet or exceed sales targets and deliver outstanding client experiences.
- Conduct employee orientation, training, and ongoing development to ensure team members are knowledgeable about services, products, and company policies.
- Oversee daily operations including scheduling, shift management, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Manage client relationships through excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
- Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, POS transactions, and cash handling.
- Coordinate marketing efforts to promote services through various channels including merchandising, promotional campaigns, and community outreach.
- Monitor store performance metrics including retail math, pricing strategies, inventory control, and sales management to optimize profitability.
- Assist in recruiting new staff members through interviewing and evaluating candidates; participate in employee onboarding processes.
- Maintain organizational efficiency by managing stock levels, purchasing supplies, and overseeing merchandising efforts.
- Support budget planning and assist with financial management tasks such as budgeting and store management activities.
Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.
- Leadership experience with a proven track record in team management or assistant manager roles within retail or fitness environments.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse client bases effectively.
- Proficiency in administrative functions including payroll processing, bookkeeping, inventory management, POS systems, and retail math.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising staff, conducting interviews, training & development programs.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques, marketing strategies, merchandising, stocking procedures, pricing strategies, and store management principles.
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as customer service excellence, sales management, shift supervision, and operational oversight seamlessly.
