ABOUT THE ROLE
A full day of good music, good people, and good vibes — and we need you behind the bar to keep it flowing!
This is a customer-facing role where your personality matters just as much as your speed. You'll be selling or making drinks to a high volume of guests, processing transactions quickly, and keeping the good vibes going even when the lines are long. OLCC certification is required — if you don't have it yet, you'll need to obtain it before your first shift. No need to be a seasoned pro, but you should be comfortable with people, confident handling cash and card payments, and ready to bring your best energy every shift.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sell, pour, and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly in compliance with OLCC regulations
- Verify guest age and ID before every alcohol sale — no exceptions
- Greet guests warmly and provide a positive, welcoming experience at the bar
- Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, including making correct change
- Keep up a steady pace during busy rushes without sacrificing friendliness or accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area throughout your shift
- Communicate any stock or equipment issues to a supervisor promptly
- Assist with basic setup and breakdown of the bar area as directed
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Valid OLCC Alcohol Service Permit (required before first shift — if you don't have one yet, you must obtain it prior to working; visit oregon.gov/olcc to get started)
- Bartending experience in fast paced environment
- Some prior customer service experience — retail, food service, hospitality, or similar
- Comfortable handling cash and card transactions, including basic math and making change
- Friendly, approachable, and able to stay positive during high-traffic periods
- Able to stand for long periods and remain active throughout the shift outdoors
- Reliable, punctual, and available August 1st for sure
NICE TO HAVE
- Prior experience working festivals, fairs, stadiums, or other large events
