Beckon Worldwide, a fast-paced and dynamic engineering company that is adding a Service Technician to our team. Candidate will be part of a team and company with an already large positive growth curve with a lot of potential. We manufacture high precision parts as an OEM alternative to many industries. We are adding a Service Technician to our team. Candidate will work alone or in a small team to conduct on-site precision portable machining work in manufacturing facilities. He or she will also perform in-house machine repairs, as well assembly or disassembly of machine parts. Duties include a combination of work performed in-house in Fenton, MO and at customer's plants. The latter will involve domestic and international travel.
Requirements
- Pass drug test and background check prior to start of work.
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be self-reliant with exemplary work ethic and pride in work quality.
- Able to travel an estimated 50-100 days per year with international travel possible.
Responsibilities
Perform On-Site Service Work
- Set up portable machining equipment and conduct precision machining on machines in manufacturing plants.
- Prepare and organize equipment and logistics prior to service work.
- Drive company trucks/vans and trailers to service jobs.
- Represent the company professionally on the customer’s site.
- Hand scrape metal surfaces to achieve precision fits and GD&T specifications.
- Rebuild machinery.
Perform In-House Service and Repairs
- Disassembly and assembly of parts.
- Machine overhauls and repairs.
- Clean and inspect parts.
- Answer technical questions from customers and Beckon team members.
- Assist the Sale Team with quoting service work.
- Repair, Maintain, and organize our new building.

Pay: $20.00 - $60.00 per hour
