Under the supervision of the Director of Surgical Services, the manager has 24-hour accountability and responsibility for the effective and efficient operation of surgical. You will ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements and performs other functions in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.

EDUCATION:
-
Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
-
Bachelors of Science in Nursing required; MSN highly preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
- RN with current licensure or RN with temporary permit to practice from the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.

Current BCLS certification
-
Current ACLS certification
-
Prefer national certification in area of expertise (CNOR, CNA, or CCRN).
EXPERIENCE:
-
Three years’ experience in operating room, recovery and endoscopy.

Current management experience.

Current clinical practice or practice in last 2 years in area of expertise.
