Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Plumber/ Residential New Construction Plumber to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including service repairs, remodeling, and new construction installations. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in plumbing systems, construction practices, and mechanical knowledge. The position involves working on commercial and residential sites, utilizing a range of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality plumbing solutions. This is a paid position suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills in a professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installations
- Use hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment for precise work
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site work
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure project timelines are met
- Conduct remodeling projects, including pipe replacement and system upgrades
- Adhere to safety protocols on construction sites and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Assist with HVAC system integration when necessary
- Read technical schematics and mechanical diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Perform basic math calculations related to measurements, pipe sizing, and material estimates
- Maintain a clean work environment, clean work vehicle, and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, service repairs, or residential new construction projects
- Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and assembly tools
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of HVAC systems and general mechanical knowledge preferred but not required
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or working at heights
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or site access is required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Handyman experience or remodeling background is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
