Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented individual to join our care team. This role involves providing light assistance to clients from various walks of life, including both independent and non-independent individuals focusing on companion care and supporting daily living needs in a respectful and dignified manner.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with light daily tasks and activities while promoting independence
- Provide companion care that supports emotional well-being and quality of life
- Carry out delegated tasks from our clinical team, ensuring proper care and compliance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for all residents
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families
- Uphold our commitment to family-centered, resident-focused care
- Provides high quality care for Assisted Living Residents with various dependent needs
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living such as: grooming, bathing, oral cares, dressing, transferring, etc...
- Provide medication administration to residents as aligned in care plan
- Honors and protects resident rights
- Has attention to facility safety, upkeep and cleanliness
- Leads with compassion, kindness and teamwork
- Coordinates residents' needs with the nursing team
- Other tasks as assigned by Executive Director
- Monitor and document residents' health, behavior, and safety.
Qualifications:
- A compassionate, loving nature and strong sense of reliability
- Ability to work well in a team and follow directions from clinical staff
- Previous experience in a similar caregiving or companion care role is a plus
- Must demonstrate professionalism, patience, and respect for all residents
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to lift, move, or assist residents with mobility.
- Must pass a background check and have no felony convictions
