Quality Assurance Analyst - Consultant

Concordant LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst - Consultant to support testing efforts on complex, change-oriented projects for a state government healthcare agency client. This role is responsible for performing tests on technical solutions, isolating and resolving issues, and supporting quality assurance across small to large-scale projects.
As a certified SBA HUBZone firm, Concordant LLC is required to maintain a workforce where at least 35% of employees reside in a qualified HUBZone. Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, QA and/or User Acceptance Testing processes, and test cases for product management and software development teams
- Design and support user interface testing applications and regression testing software
- Test software applications for reliability and stability
- Implement testing programs for quality assurance, including negative testing and usability testing
- Lead quality assessments that expose security flaws, reveal defects, and identify areas of optimization
- Design and/or run automated testing scripts with oversight for test deployment
- Create quality assurance documentation and reports as required
- Adhere to established software testing governance policies, best practices, and guidelines, and recommend improvements
- Maintain a database of product defects, user reviews, survey information, and functional improvements
- Coordinate with product development teams and software engineers to recommend performance and efficiency improvements
- Perform reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections in accordance with established governance standards
Required Qualifications
- Residency in a qualified SBA HUBZone (required for this position)
- 3 years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios
- 3 years building test cases and scenarios into test systems
- 2 years of experience testing IBM Curam software
- Ability to communicate and publish status reports on open issues and gaps identified during testing, and articulate findings to development teams
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field (4+ years of relevant experience may substitute for formal education)
- 5+ years of large enterprise or e-business systems experience
- Deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid) and related business processes
- Proficient in the Atlassian tool suite, including JIRA and Confluence
- Experience working in a standard SDLC (waterfall) and Agile delivery environments

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
