GENERAL FUNCTION:
The Chief of Human Resources is a senior executive responsible for the overall strategic management and direction of the organization’s human resources and talent management functions. The Chief of Human Resources plays a critical role in shaping the company, culture, fostering employee engagement and ensuring the alignment of the people strategy with the organization’s business goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute the organization's people strategy in alignment with the company’s vision, mission and business objectives.

Provide strategic guidance to the executive leadership team on human capitol issues.
- Direct supervisory personnel in conducting due-process procedures.
- Implement performance management systems, including regular feedback, performance appraisals, and development plans.

Develop a performance driven culture and establish key performance indicators.
Talen Acquisition and Development:
-
Oversee the recruitment and retention of talent, including leadership and clinical positions.

Develop and implement programs for onboarding, training, and ongoing development of employees.

Ensures employment vacancy rates are monitored, tracked and reported monthly across all regions.
- Coordinates company job advertising in various markets and regions.

Monitors and implement improvement plans for employee retention.
Employee Relations:
-
Ensures a positive and inclusive work environment by managing employee relations, conflict resolution and fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion.
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures.

Direct supervisory personnel in conducting due-process procedures,
Compensation and Benefits:

Lead the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefit programs.

Monitor market trends and benchmark the company’s compensation and benefits packages.

Coordinate Workers Compensation and safety related initiatives across all regions.

Coordinate the E-Verify and I-9 initiatives across all regions.
-
Oversee all EAP programs for the company and provide monthly or quarterly reporting as needed.

Serve as a liaison for HR related contracts
Employee Engagement and Well-Being:

Foster a culture of employee engagement, motivation and well-being.

Develop and manage programs to enhance employee satisfaction and work-life balance.
Compliance and Legal:
-
Supervise and maintain reporting of employee resolutions and records of employee grievances across all regions.

Serve as auditor of HR systems across regions to ensure continuity of processes.

Oversee the analysis, maintenance and communication of records required by law or governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
- Handle unemployment contestations, EEO complaints, internal grievances, etc.

Direct and monitor the employee performance appraisal system across regions and processes in compliance with CARF and agency standards.

Work as a team to ensure that Support Solutions Quality Management Principles (Plan, Measure, Assess, Improve) are achieved.

Operates all Support Solutions equipment and fleet in a safe and respectful manner.

MINIIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
-
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 10 years of professional leadership experience in Human Resources or related roles with 5 years in a executive position.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high performing Human Resources team.

Proven experience in strategic planning and execution.

Exceptional problem solving and decision making abilities.
-
Certified Human Resources professional (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly recommended

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of and experience with varied HR information systems

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
