Position Overview: The Document Manager plays crucial role in overseeing the organization, maintenance, and accessibility of legal documents. The specific duties may vary depending on the size and structure of the law firm.
Responsibilities:

Document Organization: The Document Manager ensures that all legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and client communications, are properly organized and uploaded to the corresponding case file.

Document Retrieval: Responding to requests for specific documents, whether from attorneys, paralegals, or other staff members. This requires an efficient and organized approach to retrieve information promptly.

Inbound and Outbound Mail: Oversee the comprehensive management of inbound and outbound physical mail.

Quality Control: Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of documents. This includes verifying that all necessary signatures, dates, and attachments are present.

Manage Supplies/Equipment: Efficiently oversee the management and upkeep of office supplies and firm equipment.
Qualifications:

Illinois Notary preferred

High school diploma or equivalent

Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Motivated self-starter who takes initiative to see tasks through to completion

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Work Schedule:

In Office Monday-Friday; 9am-5pm
