About the Role
We manufacture and install custom basement window well covers, safety grates, and decorative well liners. We are looking for an energetic, mechanically inclined Field Installation Technician to take charge of our Colorado residential routes.
This is an active, independent hands-on role where you run daily service routes to take precision measurements for upcoming builds and install custom covers, liners, safety ladders, and security locks on finished basements.
What You’ll Do
- Site Measuring & Assessment: Visit customer homes to capture exact well dimensions, evaluate foundation materials (poured concrete, brick, stone, metal), and upload photos/specs via our mobile app.
- Cover & Accessory Installation: Transport, align, and anchor custom steel and aluminum covers, safety grates, and emergency escape ladders.
- Liner Installation: Accurately measure, cut, and secure high-grade decorative window well liners to upgrade basement window views.
- Field Adjustments: Perform clean masonry drilling and hardware anchoring (Tapcons, sleeve anchors) to ensure an exact fit.
- Customer Interaction: Walk homeowners through completed work, explain safety latch operations, and capture digital sign-offs.
- Vehicle & Tool Care: Keep your assigned company rig organized, stocked, and ready for daily routes.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on Mechanical Aptitude: Construction, landscaping, remodeling, carpentry, or tool-heavy trade experience.
- Tape Measure Precision: Extreme accuracy with measurements—our custom covers are fabricated strictly to your field data.
- Tool Comfort: Experience with hammer drills, impact drivers, multi-tools, and masonry fasteners.
- Valid Driver’s License: Clean driving record (must be insurable on our company vehicle policy).
- Physical Capability: Able to lift 50–75 lbs, bend, crouch, work outdoors year-round, and climb in/out of basement window wells.
- Reliability & Communication: On-time arrival, positive attitude, and good communication with clients and shop dispatch.
