Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Ultrasound Technolgists to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to supplement their full-time income with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to on-call requests promptly and provide ultrasound services as needed at designated free-standing ERs. Callback response time of 1 hour.
- Perform high-quality ultrasounds including, but not limited to, abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, and vascular scans. No procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation and recording of ultrasound results.
- Collaborate with ER staff and physicians to provide timely and effective patient care.
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment according to established guidelines.
Requirements:
- Valid certification as an Ultrasound Technician.
- Proven experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound exams.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to on-call requests (within 1 hour)
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to cover holiday shifts (1-2 holidays per year).
